How to Use News in Trading
1. Check before each session. Know what high-impact events are coming so you're not caught off guard mid-trade.
2. Avoid new entries 15 minutes before high-impact news. Spreads widen and price can spike unpredictably.
3. Wait for the move to confirm. The initial reaction is often reversed. Wait for the second move — that's where the real trade is.
4. Reduce lot sizes during high-impact events. Even if you want to trade the news, size down to protect your account from abnormal volatility.
